Group Visits for High School Students (Grades 9-12)

    The University of Pittsburgh offers group visits for 10 or more high school students. For younger students (elementary and middle school), self-guided walking tours are available. If you want to learn more about this, please contact us at visitctr@pitt.edu.

    Visit Scheduling: 

    Visits are by appointment only. - Group visits are usually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, depending on availability.

    Requesting a Visit:  

    Fill out the group visit request form at least two weeks before your preferred date. - Submitting the form does not confirm your visit; it needs approval from the group coordinator.

     Visit Requirements: 

    • You must bring at least one chaperone for every 15 students.
    • All attendees must be high school-aged students. 
    •  Group coordinators are responsible for student behavior during the visit.
    • Arrive on time; more than 15 minutes late may lead to cancellation.
    •  Non-compliance with these rules may result in the visit being canceled. After Pitt reviews your request, you will receive more information about your visit.

    Submitting the form does not confirm your visit; Pitt will communicate with you if your request is confirmed or declined.
